Day 1: Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel at 6:00 am. We’ll drive through Arusha city and make our way to Tarangire National Park, a journey of around 4 hours.

Tarangire is renowned for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees. During our 7-8 hour game drive, you’ll also spot a wide variety of animals including giraffes, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, and antelopes. At 5:00 pm, we’ll head back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Karatu highlands. As we descend into the vast plains of the Serengeti, you’ll be captivated by the endless horizon, teeming with wildlife.

We’ll head to the Seronera area, the park’s richest wildlife habitat, known for its Seronera River which attracts a wide variety of species, including lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and giraffes. Enjoy a full day of game viewing in this incredible wilderness.

Day 3: Serengeti Game Drives – Wildebeest Migration / Calving Season

Today, we spend a full day in the Serengeti, experiencing the wildebeest migration (if visiting during the migration season) or the calving season. These two events are spectacular to witness, as the Serengeti is home to millions of wildebeest and other grazers.

The migration offers one of nature’s most impressive wildlife spectacles, while the calving season sees thousands of baby animals born in the wild. You’ll have the chance to see the dramatic interactions between predators and prey in the Serengeti’s stunning landscapes.

Day 4: Serengeti Game Drives & Maasai Tribe Visit

The day begins with an early morning game drive, heading back into the heart of the Serengeti. This is a great time to see the big cats such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as they are most active during the cooler hours.

After a leisurely lunch, we’ll head towards the Ngorongoro Crater. On our way, we’ll visit a Maasai village, where you’ll learn about the Maasai people’s unique way of life, their traditions, and their connection to the land. We will then continue to our accommodation near Ngorongoro for the night.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

On the final day of your safari, we’ll start early to catch the beautiful sunrise over the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The crater is a massive volcanic caldera, home to a rich diversity of wildlife.

During our 7-8 hour game drive, we’ll explore the crater floor, where you can expect to see rhinos, elephants, lions, giraffes, pink flamingos, and hyenas, among other species. The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offering a spectacular combination of wildlife and scenic beauty.

After the game drive, we’ll head back to the hotel or transfer you to the airport for your departure.
