3 Days Tanzania Safari

The 3 days safari is the perfect way to experience Tanzania’s incredible wildlife and diverse landscapes within a short time. This itinerary covers three of Tanzania’s most iconic parks: Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, offering the opportunity to see a wide variety of animals in their natural habitats while exploring unique terrains.

Day 1: Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast at 5:30 AM, you’ll set off for Serengeti National Park, driving via Arusha City and the picturesque highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you descend into the Serengeti, you’ll be greeted by the park’s vast endless plains, a true representation of the wild African landscape.

You’ll head towards the Seronera area, the central and most wildlife-rich part of the park. Here, you’ll find the Seronera River, which attracts a wide variety of wildlife, including leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, hippos, elephants, and large prides of lions. Giraffes and other animals can also be spotted. After an exciting day of game viewing, you’ll return to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Serengeti Game Drives

Start your day with a morning game drive in the Serengeti. The park’s vast savannahs provide a spectacular backdrop to a diverse and abundant wildlife population, making every game drive a unique experience. The Serengeti is home to an impressive array of species, so you’re likely to encounter big cats, herds of wildebeest, zebras, hyenas, and perhaps even cheetahs on the hunt.

After a leisurely lunch, you’ll have time to relax before your next adventure begins. In the afternoon, you’ll begin your journey towards the Ngorongoro area, preparing for the next leg of your safari.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you’ll depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, just a short drive from your accommodation. The crater is a natural wonder, offering breathtaking views and a unique ecosystem that supports an incredible variety of wildlife, including the Big Five.

Expect to see rhinos, elephants, lions, giraffes, pink flamingos, hyenas, and many other species in their natural environment. The crater floor is a natural wildlife sanctuary, and your 8-hour game drive will take you through this extraordinary landscape, offering ample opportunities for wildlife viewing.

After the game drive, you’ll begin your return journey to Moshi or the airport, concluding your safari adventure.
