Discover Tanzania in a limited Time
Chance Venture Tours are excited to organize a range of excursions and day trips in Tanzania, offering you a fantastic opportunity to experience the country’s vibrant culture, diverse wildlife, and stunning landscapes in a short amount of time. These tours are ideal for adding flexibility to longer safaris or beach holidays. We offer day tours from Arusha, Moshi, Marangu, and Zanzibar.
Additionally, we can arrange day trips to Tarangire National Park or Lake Manyara National Park, though we generally recommend against these one-day safaris due to the long and often tiring journey back to Arusha on the same day. However, if desired, we can arrange for the day tours to conclude directly at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for added convenience.
Materuni Waterfalls
The waterfalls are located right next to the starting point of the Marangu Route and can be reached from Moshi, Kilimanjaro as a daytrip.
Marangu village is located at the height of around 1300m (4300ft) above sea level, it is set within a dramatic landscape of high rises and deep valleys, covered by tropical rain forest.
Kilimanjaro National Park day trip
This day trip is led by a professional Kilimanjaro guide. On the approx. 4 to 5 hours long ascent you will experience an untouched jungle with unique flora and fauna. Your hike begins at Marangu Gate of the Kilimanjaro National Park. The Marangu Route is the most popular and easiest way to the Uhuru Peak. This route is also called the tourist route or the Coca-Cola route.
The stunning geothermal spring, commonly referred to as “Maji Moto” (Swahili for hot water), is a beloved destination for both locals and expatriates. Located in an oasis near the village of Chemka, the hot springs are nourished by an underground river that flows from Kilimanjaro National Park, about 60 km to the north. On a clear day, visitors are treated to breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and its majestic peaks.

It was 100% super amazing Hiking Kilimanjaro was a bucket list day trip and I was in good hands with chance venture tours. It was 100% the right choice. I’m a south Africa, traveled with a friends. We had solo hikers, couples, and 2 kids, friends in our group of 4.The group camaraderie was priceless. Chance venture tours are true professionals. I felt safe and supported the entire time, plus very well fed with tasty food and I can be a food snob sometimes too. They pick you up from airport, select a great hotel, help with any local excursions, check your gear- have gear you can rent if needed, daily medical checks on the mountain, morning wake ups w coffee or tea, snacks and hot tea during hikes. Kindly reccomended you chance venture tours for the nextadventure of your life time you wont regret to choose them! Manuela2024-10-07Verified A dream came true In September we climbed Kilimanjaro on the 7-day Lemosho route with Chance Venture Tours and we had an unforgettable time! Our guide Goodchance supported us at all times, motivated us with different songs and always took care of our health and well-being. He taught us a lot about the mountain, the landscape and the vegetation. We can now also speak a few words in Swahili. :-) We had a lot of laughs and unforgettable moments with the whole team, for which we are very grateful. The food was always fresh and lovingly prepared. It always tasted delicious. Many thanks to our chef Mokozi! Climbing Uhuru Peak was a dream come true. We reached the summit just in time for sunrise and were able to experience a wonderful morning atmosphere. A big thank you to our porters, Emmanuel, Calvin, Daniel, Gift, Elinami, Jemsi and Anolrd, who worked incredibly hard to support us. We will always remember this amazing week with these lovely people and thank them from the bottom of our hearts for everything. Keep up your positive attitude to life! Hakuna Matata!
